Who will be the Best Sommelier Asia & Oceania 2015 ?

The news will be announced on next November 6th in Hong Kong where the 3rd edition of the A.S.I. Contest of the Best Sommelier of Asia & Oceania will take place.

Following Osaka in 2009 and Japanese Satoru Mori’s victory, then Daejeon, South Korea in 2012 and the Australian-French Franck Moreau’s victory, Hong Kong will host from 4 to 7th November 2015 the candidates from nine countries of the Asia & Oceania area :

Australia, China, South Korea, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand.

The candidates :

- HO PONG WALLACE LO, Chine / China
- YANG LU, Chine / China
- JUNG HOON LEE, Corée du Sud / South Korea
- KYUNG HWAN KIM, Corée du Sud / South Korea
- HIROSHI ISHIDA, Japon / Japan
- AKIHIKO NOSAKA, Japon / Japan
- CHOONG YOON NG BRITT, Malaisie / Malaysia
- YEW KONG HAN, Malaisie / Malaysia
- MACIEJ ZIMNY, Nouvelle-Zélande / New Zealand
- KOK HOONG ALAN AU, Singapour / Singapore
- ALVIN GHO WEIJIE, Singapour / Singapore
- TING-WEI LEE, Taïwan / Taiwan
- KAI-WEN LU, Taïwan / Taiwan
- BANYAT CHINPINYOKUL, Thaïlande, / Thailand
- TANAKORN SAE-UNG, Thaïlande / Thailand

Each association from these countries duly selected one or two candidates who will face the quarter and semi finals on November 5th. Then, the three best ones will fight for the title on November 6th at Grand Hyatt Hotel in Hong Kong.
